A Shutdown George H.W. Bush Library

While we were in College Station, Victoria and I decided to drop by the George Bush Library. It was shortly after his death and the flags were still at half staff for him. When we took the long windy driveway to the parking lot there appeared to be a lot of cars there. Little did we know, but the government shutdown that was taking place had closed the inside.

Fortunately, we were still able to walk on the outside and see the reflecting pond and gravesite. It was a cool experience to see all this and hopefully next time we visit, there won’t be a government shutdown and we can go inside.

The following are some pictures I took as we visited.
