Bankhouse Coffee, Long Beach, MS

When I was around Long Beach, MS, I was looking for a coffee place to start my morning. I wanted to get my caffeine fix and also do a little work on my blog. A Google search brought me to Bankhouse Coffee.

I’m glad I stumbled on this place because it was really neat. Also, the people working there were very friendly. I was given some background on the historic building Bankhouse Coffee is in. I was told it was originally a bank in the 1920’s, hence the name Bankhouse Coffee. I was then told it later served as a post office and later a Masonic lodge.

The building has since been restored. It has the historic feel and stands proudly in its past glory. The coffee is roasted on site under the brand of Coast Roast Coffee. The atmosphere is laid back and chill. All in all, it was a great place for me to hang out, get some work done, and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

The wifi was good for the download speeds and alright for the upload speeds. It was fast enough for me to get done what I needed to get done.

The coffee itself was roasted well. I gave me the perk I needed.

I like this place. I am happy I impulsively stumbled upon it while looking for coffee. The area of town it is in is nice. The well-kept historic feel and relaxed atmosphere helped set the mood for me to get work done and also relax. The coffee also hit the spot. If I’m ever passing through Long Beach again, I have a feeling I’ll be back!
