When I mentioned to my friends in Thunder Bay all the places that I was hitting up or planned to hit up, they said, “When you come to Thunder Bay, you definitely hit it hard and make the most of your time here.” The more I think about it, the more this kind of behavior fits this blog well. I’m impulsive and I like the bounce between a lot of different places and try as many things as I can.
I already wrote a blog entry on how Thunder Bay got on my radar and why I love to visit. When I really think about it, it’s kind of crazy how I just came to the city by accident. I mean I literally just hopped the border without a passport. Every visit I end up finding many amazing places to go to and also will meet some amazing people along the way.
It seems like every time I come with a big list of places to visit and after that visit, will end up with an even bigger list of places for the next trip. I will also always make another friend or two who will make me feel right at home there. I’m glad we live in an age where I can keep up with them so easily on social media, and it’s always great being able to meet up with them when I’m in town.
This time I blogged about 26 different places that I hit up in the little over 3 days I was there. I know I hit up a bunch more that I’ve already written a blog entry about, so I definitely can say I hit the town pretty hard and made the most of my time. Maybe next time, I will shoot for 30 places.
