Dallas Diner, Dallas, TX

If you want a good recommendation on a simple diner that serves good down home food, talk to a cop. Cops usually have a place or two that they become regulars at during their breaks. When I was visiting my buddy Andy, who is a Dallas police offer, we visited one of his favorite spots. Dallas Diner is one of those small old school diners just down the road from his station. It is one of those cozy places to go and get a bite to eat.

I just had a simple breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit. The bacon was cooked to crisped perfection. I swear it was the crispiest bacon I had ever tasted without any char on it!

As I do with most places, I checked to see if they had wifi. They appeared to have it, but I couldn’t find the password.

I can see why Andy frequents this place. The food was good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was laid back and it was just a good place to chill out and relax.
