Fire Bowl Cafe Austin, TX

If you want a good place that takes pride in allowing you to customize your stir-fry, Fire Bowl Cafe is the place to go to. The one I went to in The Arboretum is tucked in a little shopping center.

The inside is that of a typical fast-casual restaurant. There is a bit of an Asian twist to it with some cool pictograms on the wall.

There is a decent selection on the menu and lots of different ways you could customize your order.

Victoria and I ordered and then got our number for the table. There was this weird little divot in the table, which I assume was for sauces.

I decided to try their Red Flash soda. It was very sweet and tasted like bubblegum.

I got the Fire Noodles with tofu and Victoria got the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The noodles definitely packed a kick to them, especially after I added their chili sauce! My dish definitely lived up to its name!

I ate as much as I could with chop sticks. I ended up having to get a to-go box. They definitely give a lot of food!

I checked the wifi, but I see it was locked.

As with any Chinese restaurant, I got a fortune cookie. Mine read, “You make people realize that there exist other beauties in the world.” In my opinion, this was a good fortune cookie. This is what I try to portray in my blog as I travel and see the beauty the world has to offer.

When I was ordering, I see the place must be popular. There were a ton of to go orders waiting to be delivered.

Overall, this restaurant is good. I can definitely say it lives up to the name, “Fire Bowl.” The food is reasonably priced, and there’s more than enough. You’ll probably end up taking some home. On top of that, you’ll be able to set your taste buds on fire a bit.
