Jaycee Park, Vero Beach, FL

After I had made it to Best Buy, talked to my friend Mat, and then bought my laptop case, I had a few hours to kill before Mat was done with work. I figured I would find somewhere close to the water and relax, as well as work on some blog entries. After a quick scan of Google Maps, I found a place called Jaycee Park. It was about a 20-minute drive, but it was worth it because it ended up being a nice place to kill a few hours.

I walked around a bit and took a look around. The beach and water were very nice and it wasn’t too packed. I’m guessing a lot of it had to deal with it being during the middle of a workday and also the fact that alcohol wasn’t allowed. It did prove to be nice to get some nice views of the ocean and also get some work done.

After the walk, I found a picnic bench that was shaded and gave me somewhat of a view of the ocean. I got to work on my computer and started working on this blog. Being close to the ocean and out of the direct sun, the temperature was perfect and it was nice being able to work outdoors.

I love going to places like this that allow me to work and are also in a scenic area. It’s just relaxing to sit back next to the water, take in the scenery, and then get some work done. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do this more often in the future as it is way better than being stuck indoors!
