La Quinta Inn and Suites Dallas Plano West, Plano, TX

I stayed at this La Quinta when I was on a trip to celebrate Victoria’s dad’s birthday in Dallas.

Outside:

You could definitely tell the hotel has been around a while, but has been newly remodeled.

The Lobby:

The outside may have looked a little older, but the lobby was definitely brand new.

The Hallways:

The Fitness Room:

There appeared to be a good selection of equipment in the fitness room.

The Pool:

I got a view of the pool from my room. It was cold, so most likely it was closed anyway. It did look like a decent pool to swim in if it warmed up.

The Room:

You could also tell the room was newly remodeled. Everything was well-kept and clean. There was a walk in shower in the bathroom. The doors to the bathroom were also double doors. I haven’t seen a double doored bathroom at any of the other La Quintas I’ve stayed at.

The View:

Besides the pool, you could see a bunch of other hotels.

Internet Speeds:

The wifi was pretty good overall. I took a ton of pictures and I was able to get all the syncing with Dropbox done on it.

Breakfast:

Breakfast was really good! What stood out to me was the breakfast potatoes they had. Their gravy for their biscuits and gravy was also really good. I also like the fact they had both Cholula and Texas Pete hot sauces to choose from.

Other Notes on the Hotel:

The La Quinta Returns bag was good with 2 cookies and a water.

A few issues I did find with the hotel is the elevator was kind of sketchy. It was slow and when it did arrive, it would jerk around a bit as you walked into it. Also, there was barely any water pressure in the bathroom sink.

Besides that, the hotel was nice. They did a good job with the breakfast and I did really like the breakfast potatoes. It was also nice having a selection of hot sauces. The hotel felt clean and kept up. They pretty much delivered to expectations on all fronts!
