La Quinta Inn The Woodlands North, The Woodlands, TX

When Victoria and I went to the ZZ Top concert in The Woodlands, we decided to stay at the La Quinta there. I’m still a La Quinta Elite Member, so it worked out perfectly that I could use some of my points to get a room that was close to the concert venue.

The Outside:

You can tell this La Quinta was built a while back. It has outside doors to each room.

The Lobby:

The lobby is a bit cozy, but it can accommodate a decent amount of people. You can tell this hotel was in demand for the concert we went to.

The Hallways:

The hallways were outdoor walkways.

The Pool:

The Room:

The room was basic for the most part. It had everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. The one thing Victoria and I liked was the large bathroom counter.

The View:

The view was pretty dismal overall. I guess it doesn’t matter for a place to sleep but the view was just a stairwell and a garbage can.

Internet Speeds:

Internet speeds were also dismal for the most part.

Breakfast:

Due to being up late at the concert, I slept in and skipped breakfast. They do have it, and this is what the breakfast area looks like.

Other notes on the hotel:

I did get my La Quinta Elite bag, along with a nice note from the hotel staff.

We drove to the concert, but I like how they did have a shuttle arranged if we want to ride there.

I also liked how they were dog friendly and gave cleanup bags to the owners.

Overall, the hotel was decent. You could tell it had seen better days and was an older La Quinta, but it’s decent if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. I would say the service itself was pretty good and I appreciated the fact that there was a note telling me to enjoy my stay. I don’t see that too often at other La Quintas.
