Louisiana Gold Pepper Sauce, New Iberia, LA

I found Louisiana Gold Pepper Sauce in Texas on my way to Louisiana. I made a pit stop at Brookshire Brothers in Jasper, TX. It is made in New Iberia, LA. I really like this hot sauce, even more so than regular Tabasco. The main difference between this and Tabasco is the peppers are the first ingredient. In Tabasco, vinegar is the first ingredient.

With peppers being the first ingredient, this hot sauce packs more heat. The aftertaste is fiery! You can still taste the vinegar, but it’s more balanced with the heat. Overall, I’m a fan, and I have a feeling I’ll be buying more of this to keep in stock.
