Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO

Victoria’s dad wanted to show us some of the natural beauty around Denver. He drove us a bit into the mountains to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. I didn’t realize how historical and significant this place actually was and all famous acts performed there over the years until I went to the museum inside, as well as doing some research afterwards. Victoria’s dad was actually recently there for a Jethro Tull concert.

I saw some statues dedicated to the amount of work that had been performed in the Great Depression with the Civilian Conservation Corps. Along with all the famous acts that performed there, it was cool to see how much history was in this place. If I’m ever back in the Denver area, it would be cool to see a concert here.

We did a lot of walking around and the views were amazing. It did seem during the day, many people turned this place into a gym to workout in. I can definitely see where climbing the steps would make for a good workout, as well as having the amazing scenery would be insanely motivating.

Just like I did for the San Antonio Riverwalk, I took a bunch of pictures and am going to put them all below in the order they were taken. The pictures start with the drive from Village Inn and end back in the parking lot of Red Rocks Amphitheatre after we walked around.
