Thunder Bay Tourist Pagoda, Thunder Bay, Ontario

If you’ve read any of my blog on my Thunder Bay trips, you know that I like to stay at the Prince Arthur Hotel. Right next to the Prince Arthur is the Thunder Bay Tourist Pagota. It seemed like every time I wanted to visit it, it was always closed. I was finally able to find a time when it was open.

What makes this otherwise unassuming small building significant is it’s actually Canada’s oldest continuously operating tourist information center. It was built in 1909 and has pretty much been operating since. The building itself is of historical significance and it’s also good to be able to get information on cool places to explore. Since it was finally open, it decided to check it out.
