Tybee Beach, Savannah, GA

To be honest, I was a little disappointed with Tybee Beach. I’m not sure if it was because I got spoiled a few days prior with the beaches of Mississippi and Alabama. The first thing I noticed about Tybee Beach was having to pay for parking.

The more I have to pay for something, the higher my expectations get. Since I was used to the free beaches with clean and functional bathrooms, I expected a bit more. The bathroom itself wasn’t that clean. On top of that, there wasn’t really any soap or paper towels. Some of the sinks also felt like they were going to fall off the wall. That was really my only gripe about the area.

The scenery itself was nice, and I got some good pictures during my walk around. The town around it seemed decent overall, and I could see it being a cool place to hang out if you got a room there.
