Village Inn, Aurora, CO

I was told Village Inn used to exist in Austin, but has since closed. This was the place we chose to eat breakfast. While Rosie’s Diner had a feel of the 50’s, this place definitely had a feel of the 80’s from the outside.

Upon going inside, it felt more like a Perkins (a chain I’m used to up North), including all the baked goods they had.

I decided to get the Poblano Smothered Breakfast Burrito.

This place may have had the 80’s look on the outside, but it was a good family restaurant. I definitely liked the smothered breakfast burrito and part of me wants to find more places that serve this. It would be cool if this chain came back to Austin, but I guess it’s a place to visit when I’m in Colorado again.
